I am passionate about connecting people and creating community between individuals and organizations. With 11 years of communications experience, I have served as lead public information manager on a wide range of complex infrastructure projects, emergency incidents, and municipal initiatives. I'm driven to help my community be more inclusive and equitable - a place where everyone is able to thrive, not just survive.
I'm currently living my best life, obsessing over municipal happenings, as the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the City of Glenwood Springs, CO.
When I'm not working or volunteering, you can find me ambling around town, singing made-up songs, playing tabletop games (especially Dungeons and Dragons), instigating various get-togethers, or enjoying all the beautiful Colorado scenery.
I moved to Colorado with my family in 1999. As far as I am concerned, it was one of the greatest gifts I have ever received. I grew up in a small town on the western slope about 10 miles west of Glenwood Springs, CO. I was lucky enough to attend college in the beautiful city of Fort Collins at Colorado State University where I majored in International Studies and triple minored in Economics, French and History.
